Laura Diaz was born in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, where she completed her primary, secondary, and university education. With over 15 years of experience in the banking sector, particularly in international and banking operations, Laura migrated to the United States in 2009, initially residing in Naples, Florida, before settling in Lowell, Massachusetts. Passionate about community service, she became actively involved in local initiatives like the Working Cities Lowell Initiative and the Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA). Laura, a founding member of LCCE, assists in outreach efforts and connecting people with essential resources. "I love Lowell; it was the city that opened doors for me and my daughter, providing many opportunities and inclusion," says Laura.
